We check the radar starting an hour before each rental, as well as during the rental, to see if there is anything obvious going on where the reservation needs to be moved or cancelled. Most of the time, rentals are able to happen with a slight delay at worst case but in the off chance it needs to be cancelled, we try to reschedule for a different day or time. If we are not able to reschedule then the payment is fully refunded.
If you're out on the water and must come in due to a pop up storm, then we can wait for it to pass. Usually in 10-20 minutes it passes and your able to continue your rental! There is not a prorated refund if you must return to the dock before the end of your rental.

Reservations are non-refundable. We do offer a future rental credit where you could cancel your reservation at anytime that does not expire. If you want to cover your reservation with excursion protection which is like trip insurance then you have that option to do so and it's very inexpensive! That is done through a separate company and and there is a link on your receipt that you receive after you book.
